Valuation Roll Analysis

Annual returns of the analysis of the Valuation Roll are no longer required to be provided to the Scottish Executive. Since inception of the Assessors’ Portal (www.saa.gov.uk) the data has been downloaded directly by the Executive. Other users of the data may however find it convenient to view or download it here.

Certain subjects are entered in the valuation roll as ‘cumulo’ entries, ie one entry is made to cover a number of properties, either for administrative convenience (eg bus shelters) or to satisfy statutory direction (eg telecommunications subjects). Two figures are therefore provided, one shows the number of entries in the roll, the other the number of subjects included in those entries.

Revaluation 2005 Appeals Analysis

Returns continue to be made to the Scottish Executive on the numbers and values of Revaluation Appeals lodged as well as details of their clearance. The last date for receipt of Revaluation Appeals was 30 September 2005. The position as at 30 September 2005 is available here together with subsequent quarterly returns.
